UX Design & Front End Dev Office Hours ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฆ„๐Ÿฆ‹โœจ

Hey there!

Welcome to Professor Mira’s Office Hours!!!

Are you a new Tech Professional or trying to get into the Tech Industry? Do you also have a ton of question that are so specific and nuanced that you can’t even google them? If so, you’re in the right place.

What Kinds Of Questions Should I Ask?

You can ask any and all questions related to Front End Development, Back End Development, UX Design, SEO, Coding, Programming, Freelancing, and anything else related to the design, creation, management, and marketing of software. Thats I lot, but you get the idea.

I’ve been in the industry for over 12 years, I’ve run my own agency for more than half of those years, and there isn’t much I haven’t seen, built, or broken at this point. Even if your question is about something I don’t specialize in, I’ll still likely have some insight or be able to point you in the right direction.

What If No One’s Asking Questions?

If you hop on my stream and I’m in the middle of working on some random project, that’s likely because no one asked any questions. You can still ask something even if I’m doing other stuff. You can even ask about projects I’m working on on stream!

But Wait There’s More!

It’s really hard to just watch a stream and really understand the information I’m teaching, so I created a way for you to easily view everything I’m working on in a browser (even on mobile), and for certain things you can even edit or add things yourself!

For Design Stuff

With Figma (cool design tool) I can share my design files with all of you, AND you’ll be able to see what I’m doing in real-time and explore my design files on your own while I’m working on them.

For Questions

Also with Figma you can add your questions/comments/links to the Figma Jam Board! This way if your question gets buried in chat I’ll still see it, or if we don’t get to your question during the current stream, I can answer it in a later stream.

You can also post links to resources if you’d like!

For Dev Stuff

With VS Code I am able to share my code base with you and allow you to watch me code in real time.

With GitLab you can go back through the different versions of my code and see a timeline of how I built the thing.

With CodePen I can share snippets of code that you can live edit yourself from any browser!!
